HI FILIPINAHEART!

First of all I would like to introduce my self. I am Sheryl, 23 yrs. old and a Filipina. I just wanted to send my biggest Thank you to your site because right now I am the happiest woman on earth. Why?, because i found my dream guy here at FilipinaHeart since last year. The first time we've met here, is the right time that I've felt that "he is the one!", the one who I wanted to be with in the future. I started to dream since last year and since then I thought my self how to have a long patience to pursue that dream. Actually, I am not a perfect woman but I found him who made me feel that I am perfect. When we met last June 2008 I know that I want him because he is different, different in a sense that he respect me as a woman and never use to speak with me as like the other, and that's what made me realize that he is the special person that I wanted to be with. We became friends and we are always speaking. I'm always waiting for him to be online even its very late at me because my day is not complete without him. I fall in love with him even he didn't know it that time because I am so afraid that I could lose him if he knew my feelings. We are always exchanging emails to each other and always saying "I miss you" to each other. And then one time I was very shock when I've heard the word "I love you" from him during the night that were speaking because although I felt the same way from him, I still let my self feel that we're just friends but then later on became lovers. Because I accepted his love with all of my heart. Time had pass, until he realized that we don't have the possibility to be together. I was really hurt that time and we quarreled and it became the reason why our communication had stop for 2 months. I thought that was the ending of my fairytale story but then after of several prayers that I've made in front of God, he came back one night. I was shocked that time because I thought he really forget me but he told me that "he never forget me". Since then we continue the relationship. Until one day he proposed to me through internet and I cannot explain the feeling, I answered him as "YES! I will marry YOU!". He repeated the proposal to my parents even through the net and they accepted him as well. Now, as the new chapter of my life. I can finally say that "I AM FULLY COMPLETE". We've got married this last May 2009 and he met all of my relatives and my son. We decided to live together in his country after I finish all my papers until August 2009. Right now I am very happy because he granted all my dreams, because after of all what happen "WE ARE NOW HUSBAND AND WIFE FOREVER AND UNTIL ANOTHER FOREVER".

To all girls who have dreams to find a perfect guy for your self. the best thing that you have to follow is your "heart and mind". And just be honest, patient, and the most important is to have faith in your self and in GOD.

"Through here I have found my man"

Hello FilipinaHeart! I would like to thank this site because through here I have found my man. I don't know who found first. Was it me who found him or he found me?

We began chatting after he sent me an Interest in 2007. I thought he's just playing around because he seldom chatted to me (I didn't know at that time that he would be assigned to different countries because of the nature of his job). So we just catch up every two or three months but never really serious because I was also having a relationship with someone whom I've met here also. I think he also have a girlfriend at that time. We are just treating each other as friend chatmate.

But he got serious on 2008. I dont know what got into his head that he wanted me not only as friend but more than friend. "Um... not bad", I thought, he's kind of cute and we get along well. So, I will just give it a try though his age bracket is not what I'm looking for. He was 28 back then. I like men who are in their 30's and 40's. Men who know what they want and are stable.

I met him in person In Cebu last October 2008. I was stunned when I saw him waiting for me at the Airport, at first, I thought he's too good to be true because well, It's not everyday that I can see a 6'2" white guy with blue eyes. Well, he's gentleman and he was funny (I think Americans are), and I'm just a girl... Couldn't resist a guy like him. There, our relationship starts... And I ended the relationship I was into before I met him which is really not that serious.

Well, he changed my life in a way that I tried to be the best I can be for him. That someone could really do something unimaginable when someone falls in love. Anything is possible with love, right? So let's make love not war!

We are still getting to know each other deeper, having rough times sometimes (culture clash). But I began to embrace his culture and he also began to love mine. Though we have some differences but we work things out in order for our relationship to be stronger. I know it's not the end because we are still beginning to face a new chapter in our life, new challenges. Whatever there is, hope we'll stay strong (am I making myself clear? Hope so). I dont know what will be the future for us. But thinking of spending my whole life with him is reason enough for me to wake up with a smile in my face.

What else? FilipinaHeart is full of fishes. Some maybe a good catch, some maybe not. Just needed patience and be smart with your choice. I just wish for all the singles and looking to find what they are looking. To all the girls, its not always about money. To all the guys, don't just look for outside appearance. It will fade. First, words cannot express my gratitude to you for enabling me to meet my wife. You have forever enriched our lives. After a long time searching, a friend, also married to a Filipina, suggested that I look into it. One day, while browsing one of your sister sites, I saw the banner for FilipinaHeart. My wife is a traditional Filipina, and she is even sweeter than she is beautiful. In a short time, we agreed to continue our relationship exclusively. I knew that I needed to make some signifigant life changes to be able to go there to visit and ultimately be able to bring her back here to the U.S. I expressed this to her and we decided to spend the waiting time wisely getting to know each other very well. We shared life experiences and discovered indescribable love. I was faced with a huge challenge, and failure was NOT an option. Now I was deeply in love unlike any other, and there was no way that I could ever dissapoint her. I solved problems, and overcame obstacles, certainly with the help of GOD, and two and one half years later, I arrived at Mactan International Airport. My heart was pounding, and a million questions ran through my mind. I finally made it past the last customs outpost and there she was. In a matter of minutes we both knew that this was the person we both had come to love over all that time.I was there for twenty days, it was like heaven on earth. Upon visiting the consulate we got a wonderful surprise. We were told that since the introduction of the K3 visa, it was far better to marry there, rather than using the Fiance visa. We had planned to marry anyway, so this was a delightful discovery. We were very happily married In August, and we are expecting her arrival here in the next few weeks.
